My Marantz 6003 is making a buzzing noise. After doing research it might need to be repaired. I called some repair shops. I might have to pay $150-200 to repair. Would it be worth it to repair it or buy a new receiver?

I am looking at the Onkyo TX-NR717 at $549. I would like to keep the price around this point.
The receiver must have pre outs since I have an external amp.

I wouldnt' get the Onkyo NR717 as it has a lesser version for Audyssey room correction than your old SR6003.

Maybe the Denon 3312 will interest you?

Or perhaps this Newcastle receiver with Trinnov room EQ

Thanks for the recommendations. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Denon 3312CI. The receiver has plenty of options that seem really cool to me. I still have one chance left before the order ships, does anyone else think there is a better receiver with the same features for around the same price?
