Hey guys. I am new here so bear with me. I just bought a modified halcro ssp100 that was physically updated to the 200.
My system is this at the moment.
65 mitz diamond tv with dvi. Old rear projection.
Arcam avr 300
Home built computer that holds all of our movies and lossless music
Pioneer elite blu ray player
Acoustic zen adagos speakers
We are replacing the arcam avr 300 with a arcam p7 amp and the halcro.
What should I expect, how should this be hooked up, and how should it perform compared to the older arcam receiver?
Also with the computer I do have lots of 1080p movies, can the halcro upscale this, or should I get a scaler that the computer and halcro plugs into for the tv? As of right now, the computer is hooked straight into the dvi on the tv, but the sound goes through the arcam avr 300. The tv will only do 1080i but the picture is still pretty good, just think it can be improved a bit when playing the computer movies and what-not. Also with lossless music, how good should this sound?
Thanks in advance everyone.

Mike - I know that this message is a follow-up to your earlier message, but I am searching for people who might have a better understanding / working knowledge of the Halcro SSP200. My problem is that I have made changes in my set-up and I do not know where I should be in my set-up. I am currently experiencing a loss of "the spoken word" when viewing a DVD. Background sounds are faint and all sounds are coming from the center channel in my 7.1 system. Do you have any thoughts or know of someone that could assist me with my system set-up.

Thank you
