Once you plug in the calibration mic and the MCACC menu comes up.

Try the tune up tune down button to see if you can move the highlighted selection. Up and down. Try preset for right and left. Then use the enter button far right on the front of the AVR front display. To make your selection.
I'll try it. Nothing to lose.

It will work. I'll be surprised if it doesn't.

So I plugged in the original calibration mic that came with the unit (was surprised to find it) but the MCACC menu didn't pop up. I tried changing inputs and pressing every button on the face of the receiver. No receiver interface at all.

When you say MCACC menu didn't pop up.

Do yo mean no MCACC menu on TV?.

Did you l@@k at the front display of the AVR to see if it displayed the MCACC menu there?.

The MCACC menu should have come up when you plugged the mic in.

Might want to verify that the mic was fully seated.

Good news. The replacement remote arrived from China yesterday. It has a few buttons labeled differently than what was shown in the picture, but it worked well enough to run MCACC and adjust the settings.

After surviving without the receiver remote for several months, I ordered the replacement from China which worked just fine. The next week, my son found the original remote inside our couch (not just under the cushions).

One of my lost Roku remotes turned up on top of the fridge after three months of looking. Could've been worse; could've turned up inside the fridge.

Oh, thanks for reminding me. He also found the long-lost Roku remote in the couch. I replaced that one almost two years ago.
