Although sound was coming from all speakers, there was virtually no panning of the sound. I decided I need a dedicated surround processor. I hope it will be able to correct my problem.
Hi Stiguy,
Did you find a slammin deal on your 8801? I'm in the market. How extensive was your research? Can you share?

Thanks!

It would be pretty hard to find an 8801...unless you went to a Magnolia Design Center
They were special order at Magnolia Home Theater
the 7701( and 7702) though is in stock at most of the larger Magnolia Home theaters
I have seen 7701's for as low as $650 recently there

Hi:
I'm very sure the answers is NO, however just checking to see if anyone knows how to create, save and recall two difference profiles for the Audyssey? OK, let me explain...I have two amplifiers, one is the multichannel amp for movie and one small tube amp for music. I love what the Audyssey XT32 has done to correct my room with the multichannel amp, so I want to see if I can create a diff. profile for the tube amp and just recall that profile when I swap out the amp for music.
thanks
BT

You can save multiple configurations (using the Web Control feature, p. 106 Owner's manual) to a PC by simply assigning a different file name to each configuration. You would then LOAD each file when you wanted to use it. Each SAVE/LOAD process takes about 10 minutes each.

Correct. Although you cannot store multiple configurations on the pre/pro itself, you can using the Web Control feature.
