Hello, I am new to setting up home theater systems, and despite searching online I have been unable to find any decent descriptions of which wires I would need, and where to plug them in between the receiver, subwoofer, speakers, and my computer/tv. If anyone could help me figure this out it would be greatly appreciated! Here is the speakers/subwoofer/receiver that I am hooking up:

Speakers: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882117406
Subwoofer: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0015A8Y5M/
Receiver: https://www.accessories4less.com/index.php?page=item&id=DENAVR1612

My Questions:
1. If I'm using the receiver at the time for music, would I hook the speaker wires to the surround port, or the front ports? And for movies vice versa.

2. When listening to music, is it best to still use the subwoofer cable as the connection between the reciever and the subwoofer, or use actual speaker wires to hook them up?

3. What would be the best cord(s) to use for hooking up my computer to the receiver in order to listen to music?

Thanks!

1. Regardless of the type audio playing, the speakers will be connected to the FL/FR speaker posts.
2. Sub should be connected to the AVR via a coax digital cable from the AVR's sub pre-out jack. Review the Audyssey 101/FAQ guide linked in my sig no how to run Audyssey used on the 1612.
3. Use whatever cable can be connected from the PC's video card output jack.
