I have a Rotel RSX-1560 that appears to be uncomfortably hot on top of the case, approx measuring ~125 degrees or so (kitchen thermometer). Normal use - not pushing it, driving B&W CM5s/CMC. It is in a cabinet, with appropriate distances on all sides, glass front and back open. Since it has a class D amp, I thought it would run much cooler? Is 125 degrees too hot? Also, I know Rotel amps have a thermal shutdown. Not sure if this receiver has one? Thanks for your help.

Much hotter than my old 1050. I would talk to your dealer.
