Have any of you ever had issues with Rotel not answering your emails? http://www.electronichouse.com/article/hands_on_rotel_rsx-1560_surround_sound_receiver/
this guy isn't happy with Rotel.
Given the broad combination of features and options, it should not surprise Rotel that owners will have occasional questions on how it works or how to best use it. Their lack of even common curtesy in answering emails leads to to believe their preferred market is home theater shops, were all the support issues are handled by the local shop owner. But most of us are not ready to spend $75-$100 an hour for support.
I cannot recommend Rotel to anyone.
How come Rotel is a lot of money, but lacks on features and is a little outdated for the price?
I don't see many newer models on Rotels site only 2009 and 2010. if they really don't answer emails like this guy says then that is pretty bad for the price that you have to pay for it.
Looks like you have an issue with Rotel. I have an older Rotel stereo receiver that I quite like. I'd not likely buy an HT receiver from them, given lack of room correction, but they make some very nice equipment.
I also have about a 10 year old Kenwood receiver in storage someplace...
