hey i think i figured out how to inclued the quote yahoo eh..

those are energy rc 70 speakers big discounted price on em .. i got the one in the pic today as open box single sale for only 250 right now on sale at 499 regular price 1249 lately..

they say its been discontiued but they keep popping up.. its a good little speaker..

250 watts rms at 8 ohm 92 - 95 sensitivety.. eg 1 wat at 1 meter 95 db.. chamber vs room..

3 identical speakers across the front verticle positon is the best sound .. would be even better if you could put behind screen but im using tv so in front..

would like to get 2 more for surrounds hey maybe even 2 more but i dont have enough... 5 will do .. maybe i should go for the xpa 5 monday.. dont think i can afford 5 mono blocks
xpa 100 250 watt mono.. .. need to think more LOL... xpa 3 and 2 mono blocks hmmm.. for the stereo .. and movies.. have a match sub ... guess i could always add on a bit in the
future as well.. but the speakers could be all gone so maybe get them 1st and xpa 3 and mono blocks later..

i need to sleep on it i guess so tuff

i like the idea 5 rc 70 speakers...

hey i got no vices either i got to NA meeting regularly just pick up my black key tag 2 yrs clean...

i think ive got an audio addiction now tho.. audio anonymous aa someone else is using that..

try 3 towers across the front ... in the audio theory ive read here and there, they say its the BEST sound to have 3 indentical speakers across the front in a verticle position...

if you add projection you can get audio invisible screens to put the speakers behind the screen the best spot ...

will need more cash for that im just going in front of tv... screen and projection eh.. audio visual addiction now .. AV anonymous eh... got to work on my steps... more..

cheers....

so 3 has some company i can have stereo sound shortly...

power up proper is right... my denon avr 3313ci would be so hot you could fry and egg on it turning it up a little to watch movie...

one buddy here said i could even go with out a sub with an amp... these rc 70 got good bass i think 31 hz to 23 khz laid back sound my 6.3 veritas sounded great with the blue but eric
clapton made em smokey when turn it up alot ... that was only two.. but sometime veritas tweeter get to my ear.. on certain music songs.. not yet with rc 70

rc 70 design in canada veritas design in usa energy was taken over by klipsh buyout.. then they got bought out.. adiovox

the tweeters are different rc 70 tweeter much better so far.. low level have to break em in the manual says or will burn out ... moderate volume.. going to be long month

guess i will get xpa 5 bang for you buck im up in canada so it about .25 percent more ... after all fees and stuff..

but i would really rather get 5 xpa 100 250 watt mono blocks best sound from mono blocks..

sonic nirvana

canadian on a beer budget with whisky taste...

canadian whisky..

your going to be running 4 rtia9s.... in 5.1 or 7 or 9? make it 3 across the front so get 5

get rid of center channel speaker its no good... has comb filter the sound waves cancel each other out when horizontal if mtm type center most are..

need to be vertical speaker.. much better sound 3 the same in the front you wont regret check it out

heres some theorey link to get you going.. cant find best one sorry is good read..

OK.....This has been an experience .....so I got the amp....but the RCA chords I bought from Emotiva dont come in til weds.....The 20 amp line is all hooked up.....I have sum old rca chords ....I hook everything thing up....and FRIKIN ARRRRRRRR !!!!!!! Theres a horrible buzz and hummm.............Im thinking ...I must have hooked sumthing up wrong???? I re-did it 4 or 5 tymz....now the BRAND NEW $1600 amp is faulting and tripping its internal safety switch....AAAARRRRRRRRRRRRR !!!! OK....so now im thinking....the amp is badd..........so I start trouble shooting..............its still lighting up frikin redd.....I find another set of rca chords....and it gets worse.............I finally hook up and use different source....and it starts working fine.....ok so it NOT THE AMP....so what is it??? I find another set of old rca chords and WALLAH !!! it was the old chords I was using becuz the new ones dont arrive for 2 more days.....2 setsof BADD chords in a row !!! I hooked up 2 channels for my mains.....WOW.....I canked sum hard hitting music....sum FIGHT "Into the pit " great dblbass.....and again wow.....its not that its louder......but that its alot cleaner....and the instruments sound better...... separated......the mids and the low mids are more distinct ......I am a HAPPY BOY !!!!! smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif
