I recently bought a TX-NR5010 from joerod of these forums. Loving it so far. The problem is that my contractor may have thrown the box away while it still had the Audessey mic in it. I also have two TX-NR5007s and wondered whether their Audessey mics could take the place of the one of the 5010. Anyone have an idea about this, or even better, the facts? smile.gif

If the 5007's mic won't work, would that of a 3010?

Thanks in advance.

Plug it in and give it a try. I'm pretty sure these mics are mass produced and they haven't changed much over the past few years.

When all else fails - RTFM!

You can use either the ACM-1H or ACM-1HB mic with the 5010, the former likely used with the 5007 and the latter used with both the 3010 and 5010.
