I have a Pioneer VSX-31. I set it up with 9 speakers and subwoofer in the standard way. It tested out fine with the microphone. I cannot seem to get it to play in 7.1 sound. I played a Blue Ray disc in 7.1 sound (Bourne Legacy) but the screen on the receiver looked like it was just DTS 5.1 and the rear two speakers don't seem to be included. Is there something wrong. The BD indicated for audio DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 and DTS digital Surround 5.1. Is there something that has to be selected to make it 7.1 sound. Is it the player that needs to change? No clue. Manual is too confusing. Any hints?
