Hello Forum.....I am working on a nice little pre-amp, rc-960bx. The unit came to me as non-functioning. It is working now. When selecting the tone switch ON or OFF there is a SNAP through the speakers. Also , when you turn OFF the unit with an amp connected that is ON, there is also a SNAP.

Is this normal for Rotel? All voltages are completely normal.

If it isn't normal.....what could be the cause of this? I have de-oxited all controls/switches.

Any info is good info.
