Hi there, to me the fact that your old AVR blew is a concern. Do you know what happened specifically? And are the speakers okay? Because if one is damaged it might even damage any replacement AVR.
Having said that, you might want to make a list of the things that are a priority for you in a new AVR. If it's simply a case of the old one blew because you cranked it to get desired volume levels, then perhaps none of the AVRs listed would satisfy your need for higher volume.
Typical widespread HDMI issues with the model. Repair quoted me $200 for the fix. Never pushed volume close to even 50%, was no need.
Just looking for quality receiver that will last 2-3 years, won't lose any picture, good surround, etc. Easy set-up is a plus. Honestly all I need. Don't care about 3D (bonus though for future), iPods, streaming...thanks!
