Hi folks,

I am looking to move into this unit and have a question. My current Integra 80.2 has a 30 - 45 second wait when switching between HDMI inputs. It's not a unit defect, the Integra's are designed to work this way.

could you tell me if the 50V operates in the same fashion or is the switchover quicker?

thanks very much..

Jeff

No. Typical change times are 2 to 10 seconds depending on how many HDMI handshake retries happen. Better cables and faster source and display devices mean fewer retries.

Jeff,

I'm a current Anthem AVM50V owner. Video switching between inputs takes at most 3-5 sec usually faster.

sources connected:

Xbox 360-HDMI
WII-Component
Movie Server-HDMI
Directv-HDMI
Media PC-HDMI

If you have any other questions let me know.

Cheers manutsoc20

Hey guys,

Thanks so much for your replies. I am going to get the 50v on order from my dealer(I actually found one that will knock $1,000 of MSRP :-) )
