Other than video scaling and 5 extra watts per channel, and the obvious aesthetics, is there any other differences between these 2 receivers? I have the Sr5006, but I may be able to exchange for the 2312ci if it was worth it.

The 2312CI also features GUI overlay on 3D video, variable Zone 2 pre-out volume control, and displays the speaker signal input and output icons on the front panel display. Unless you need one of these features and are otherwise happy with the 5006, suggest keeping and continuing to enjoy it. smile.gif

Thanks jdsmoothie! Very helpful. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. I'm happy with the sr5006 and will be keeping it.
