Hi Friends,

Wanted to know if it is a good purchase. Below is the configuration.
I have not done enough research. I was planning to go for Bose but I could not find a 7.1. So, I chose Klipsch instead.

R-5502-W x 3 Each
R-3650-W x 4 Each
SW-310 x 1 Each
Marantz SR5007 x 1 Each
Also, I bought Sharp XVZ17000 with 3D and 4K pass through.
Screen Innovations 110' Fixed screen

Also, can some guide me how to configure the speakers (LCR and SW) and what would be ideal tone/dialogue/crossover levels..I am completely new this AV world. I don't bother reading through your detailed feedback.
Currently, I kept my speakers and receiver setup to backside of the seating area. Someone suggested me to move the SW to the front of the room. Attached is my Media room picture from the entrance. I kept AV receiver/DISH/Cable/BD player etc and the SUB WOOFER , next to the entrance. Any suggestions on AVR placement? Does it matter? My Custom installer used a non-branded HDMI cable but however promised me that it will surpass the performance of the branded ones and confirmed that he did not receive any customer complaints in last 12 months. Should I replace HDMI cable with branded high performance cable?
I welcome any suggestion. Have a great day!!

Appreciate your help!
Thanks In Advance

Welcome to AVS Forum! smile.gif

Those speakers should be easy to drive with the 5007 having no issues at all. Use the Audyssey EQ program to setup your speakers after reviewing the Audyssey 101/FAQ Guide linked in my sig.

Also note there is a dedicated thread just for Marantz 5007 owners ....
