Found a used Parasound HCA-2003 for $500. I know this amp is at least 14 years old so I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this amp. Is it worth it and how much longer do you think it can be run before a rebuild takes place. Am really looking for a 3 channel amp around the 200w range and this fits the bill. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I don't know about the 2003, but I have the HCA2205A. I've had it for 11 years. I don't know what the 2003 was new, but the 2205A was $2k. Seems that $500 for a 3 channel might be a bit high.
Power amps rarely go belly up. More often a pre-amp or processor will. I've got a '79 Citation 19 power amp I'm still using as well.

I have one in my HT setup.....I bought it used quite a few years ago and I love it.
I paid about $700 ($750?) for it back then if you're wondering.
