I've finally got some funds to put towards a new amp for my totem based HT setup. I've got two Arros up front with a dream catcher center and surrounds and a storm sub (under powered I know). The only concern I have is properly driving the 4 ohm Arros and surrounds (the center is 8ohm). Primarily this will be for HT but I do appreciate solid stereo performance for music. Not sure how close to reference levels I'll be listening to these, finally have a standalone media room in a house so I'll get to crank the volume after a lifetime of keeping the volume down.

So far I keep coming back to the Onkyo 1010 or 3010, they seem to have a seriously robust feature set especially when it comes to streaming ( I have a lot of flac files on a media server). the 3010 is pretty expensive and possibly overkill, just not sure how much power I need to drive those totems, though apparently they are easier to drive than other 4 ohm speakers.

looking forward to some input. Cheers!
