Was hoping someone could answer this as I can't find the answer readily available - I have an Onkyo Receiver HT-R380 - will this convert component or composite to hdmi? If so, what is the proper way to wire my wii (I only have composite cables right now) and designate via the setup menu to get it to display/sound through TV? thanks so much for the help!

that Onkyo receiver does not have analog to HDMI video conversion.

You can connect composite to your receiver and then connect another composite cable from the receiver to TV.

Or you can order a Wii to HDMI converter
