I hope someone can assist. I have a Pioneer SC-35. I like the receiver very much, but recently, a problem occurred with the Headphone Jack Switch where the switch tells the receiver that the headphones are in when in reality the phones are not in...This results in the speakers switched off until the switch turns it off..It appears to be a hardware problem rather than software. I reset the Pioneer SC-35 with no results....I can not setup the MCACC until the SC-35 tells the receiver that the phones are out....I guess I could use this nice receiver with only the phones, but the best part is cranking up the speakers.....I have contacted Pioneer support , but so far no reply....Does anyone in the AVS forum have any suggestions....Thank you in advance.

The headphone jack has relay contacts which might be stuck together...
Plug the headphone connector in/out a couple of times to see if you can reset it, do this with the AVR turned off.

Just my $0.02... wink.gif
