I feel dumb asking this question, but how/what is the best way to get this unit hooked up to my PC? 3.5MM to red/white cable?

I intend on running a set of Infinity 163's and at a later time a sub, so how would this all work out?

Yes, 3.5mm to RCA (i.e., a Y-cable) is how you'd hook it up. As for connecting the sub, you'll have to get a sub with speaker-level inputs. Run the speaker cables from the T-amp to the subwoofer, then out of the sub to the speakers.

Yes.

You are probably going to run out of amplifier power if you like to listen as loud as the 163s can go and stay clean.

if your needs for SPL are modest, all should be good.

Thank for the qyestion. Same issue but I'm more uncertain how to proceed.

So this cable --> http://www.amazon.com/3-5mm-Stereo-Female-Y-Cable-6-Inch/dp/B000I23TTE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1378500944&sr=8-1&keywords=+3.5MM+to+red%2Fwhite+cable connects into the to L/R inputs in the back of the Lepai, the other single end to the speakers. But what port do you then use from the Lepai into the PC ? the one labeled 'MP3' ? What type of cable ?

The Y-adapter connects from the headphone/speaker jack on the PC (usually green) to the RCA input jacks on the Lepai RCA jacks marked "input" on the Lepai.

Nothing goes back to the PC from the Lepai.

You hook your external speaker wires to the spring connectors marked L &R + & - on the Lepai.
