I have a denon 3312ci....its fine but If I can get better sound for a little more money I would like to upgrade. I use 7.1 now focal speakers and its setup as a 7.1 with front wides instead of rears as I do not have the room behind me.

I think the main differences would be a little more power and XT32 from the 818...I can get it new for about $840 from newegg and can sell my denon for prob 600 or so so im not worried about the 240 difference but is it worth the upgrade?

what are the main benefits of xt32? I read some people say that alone is worth the extra money?

thanks for the help

Q. the main benefits of xt32?
A: can be found on the Audyssey website and our detailed Audyssey thread

Audiosceptics accept audio trials using 25 people. A recent Oxford study with over 353,000 patient records from 639 separate clinical trials shows for every 1,000 people taking diclofenac or ibuprofen there would be 3 additional heart attacks, 4 more cases of heart failure and 1 death every year. is offline
