When I hook up the (Pioneer SW-8) subwoofer to the subwoofer port in the back of the receiver, there is no sound out of this port.
1. How can I verify that the port is not damaged or malfunction?
2. I have verified that the subwoofer cable and the subwoofer are working, is there any other way to test the output of the subwoofer port?
Thanks in advance...

Make sure the subwoofer is enabled in the setup menu.
