Hello, I am putting together a simple 2.1 HT system in my bedroom 13x14 ft.
2 front speakers, a subwoofer, and a receiver. (Maybe a Blu-ray player)

Will the Denon AV 1613 (recommended) Refurbished Accessories4less $229.99
Power Output; Watts Per Channel 75

be sufficient or do I need the AVR 1713 Refurbished Accessories4l3ss 329.99
Power Output Watts per channel 80

No 3-D needed

Main use will be for watching TV low to medium listing level. (not laud)
I will appreciate recommendations and advice
.
Thanks, alexander

The difference in power between the two is insignificant. I would go with the 1713 since it has Audyssey MultEQ XT which is superior to the MultEQ the 1613 has. Both have Airplay and a USB port if these features are important to you.

Thank you for the recommendation. I will place an order on Accessories4less for the Denon 1713 .$329.99
Is the extended warrantee something I should purchase Please your recommendation:

NEW LEAF Service Pro 2 Year Total Protection Plan
2 Year Total Protection Plan adds 1 year to manufacturer’s warranty $24.99

Is accessories4less the best place to purchase from? alexander33

In your opinion is the difference in Audyssey support the major difference between these two products?

Yes, AC4L is the best place to purchase a "refurb" other than purchasing it from Denon directly when they have sales. Also check to see if your credit card provider will add a 2nd year of warranty to the 1 year already provide by Denon as Amex will and some MC/Visa providers will as well. If not, the New Leaf plan would be a worthwhile purchase.

IMO, yes. The 1713 also offers more connectivity and 2nd zone capability.

I'd go with the 1713. MultEQ XT is worth it.
