I'm looking at hooking a monitor/computer up to my 4311CI receiver. I will have a HDMI 1.4 graphics card on one end, then use a HDMI to display port cable for the monitor.

Will this work, or will I get 1080p?

As far as I know the receiver will not pass resolutions higher than 1080p. The computer monitor might be compatible with higher resolutions. I currently have my computer monitor hooked up with display port (1200p) and my receiver (1080p) with HDMI.
