Hi all,
I've decided on a Yamaha AVR for a two-channel system that will hook up to an Epson projector and be used 50/50 for TV/movies and music. The newer Yamaha RX-V473 goes for about C$399+tax here in Canada but I can get the older RX-V471 for $100 less through Amazon. I know that the newer model features discrete amps for each channel rather than chips but I'd appreciate any feedback/opinions as to whether there might be a noticeable improvement in audio quality with the 473 vs. r the 471 that could justify the extra $.
cheers.
