Just received my Denon 2311ci Reciever. I purchased 2 Energy Cf-30 Tower speakers for my fronts. They are bi-amp. The amp is a 7.2
Channel receiver. I am receiving my second subwoofer in a couple days. I had a Energy Take Classic 5.1 set up before, and I am going
to use them in my setup for the center and rear channels. I will then have 2 extra Take speakers if i decide to bi-amp my front Towers.
Am i better off going with a bi-amped 5.2 setup, or using all 7 of my speakers for a 7.2 setup? Love my new receiver! huge upgrade over my Denon 1803.smile.gif

I doubt you'll notice any improvement in SQ biamping using the same receiver, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Try it on your CF-30 so that you wont have any doubts about bi amping. If it sounds better to you leave it that way.

You're gonna need to replace your center with something larger than the Take Classic center. You'd be better off going with no center than using the Take center.
