The progression of my basement system can be found here:

At the end of the last thread I mentioned I left a spot for the next upgrade. It took a couple months to save up but I just picked up the next big "upgrade". I put upgrade in quotations because I have Klipsch speakers that we all know are easy to drive being powered by an already powerful receiver with the front and surround back channels bridged to the front left and right speakers. I currently have no audible distortion coming through any speaker, even when playing very loud. But I plan to upgrade all the speakers fairly soon to something less efficient.

Here is the next big purchase: Parasound New Classic 5250 v.2

And where it is going:

I will give my thoughts on this purchase after it is installed. I will be very honest. My reason for purchase was so I can move to a processor and different speakers in the future. Will I notice any sonic differences on my current system? I will let you know. I promise I won't say it sounds better only to justify my purchase.

Stay tuned!
