I would really like to have some opinions if the Pioneer class d amps really sound better than Denon or Onkyo.

Better??? Added fidelity is not one of the benefits of class D in my opinion.

But, no heat and extremely low power draw with high fidelity and high power output is well worh it in my opinion.
