I'm looking for opinions. I use my system for both movie watching in 7.1 surround and for listening to 2-channel music. I'm currently using a Yamaha RX-V2500 Receiver, it's getting old but it still sounds great! My front speakers are Zu Audio Omen Standards, Zu Audio Omen Center, Zu Audio Undertone Sub and my surrounds are Tivoli Design TDHT1's. I'm thinking about purchasing an Emotiva XPA-3 Amp to drive my Zu fronts and center and continue using my RX-V2500 to drive my surrounds. Any thoughts on this?

Hello there. I have a rx-a3010 with Paradigm Studio 100s. I have a XPA-5. I honestly do think you get a more "full" sound with the XPA-5 especially when listening at louder levels. Not so much at lower volumes. If you are going to play things loud then I would recommend.

Thanks for the response. I usually listen loud and getting a more "Full" sound is what I'm looking for. Also good guess, I am from the Chicago area.

Hello there. Reason I asked about Chicago is that I may be selling my Xpa5 and going with an Xpa2 and xpa100. I am in Naperville. The xpa5 is from November 2012 so lots of warranty left. Won't know if I'm selling for a couple weeks though. Just thought I'd put that out there.
