I'm torn, and looking to buy a receiver in the next week. My absolute needs are receiver based streaming from Spotify and Pandora, smartphone remote capabilities, and also zone 2 capabilities for the speakers on the patio.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't pick these receivers based on price, and I thought it was a good idea to at least entertain the option of a higher end Denon refurb (3313ci) which I found for $740. Obviously the concern is it being a refurb (only 1 year warranty), versus a brand new E400 ($599 - 2 year) or the Onkyo NR626 (MSRP $599 - 2 year). Essentially my budget is $750, and really it's $600 but thought it might be worth considering that 3313 for only $150-200 more.

Certainly would appreciate your help, and I am certainly open to any other suggestions you might want to throw my way, in my budget.

Looks like Onkyo wised up and upgraded to the next higher level Audyssey MultEQ on their lower level 2013 models which has always been featured on the lower level Denon models (eg. E400). The 3313CI upgrades to the next higher version MultEQ XT. Choose the model that best meets your budget/feature/input/output requirements.
