Does the Marantz SR7005 have enough power to run a pair Kef Q900 (biamp), Q600 and a pair of bookshelf rear channel? If I play 10 minutes at 95% volume it will shut off (I'm playing RUSH moving picture album)

As a general rule of thumb, it's best not to raise the master volume level above 0db/80 to not only ensure there is enough headroom for the signal peaks but also for the tact that doing so results in very little increase in volume compared the huge amount of additional power required (which is why your unit is currently shutting down). Also the bi-amp connection isn't likely providing any real benefit so try disconnecting it.

You need separate amps if you can stand a receiver that can do 90W/channel at 95% volume for 10 minutes.

What separate amps would you recommend, and how do I plug it to the Marantz?
