SO IM NEW TO THE FORUMS, I RECENTLY BOUGHT A DENON AVR3312CI RECEIVER AND I TOOK IT OUT OF THE BOX PLUGGED IT IN AND 5 MINUTES GOES BY , THE RECEIVER STARTS TURNING OFF AND ON AGIAN...OFF AND ON AGAIN, HAS ANYBODY ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH THEYRE DENON 3312?

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

Hi, I would start by disconnecting all speaker wires and inputs and see if the problem persists. After doing so , if the unit remains on then add speaker connections one at a time to isolate the problem. I suspect the amp is going into protection mode.

thanks for the input but it did it right after i plugged it in and i didnt have any other connections plugged in
its quite frustrating

I take it this was open box or refurb? Sorry for you frustration, I know how it goes,seems these things happen on the weekends. Looks like a return is in order.

it has warranty so ill call an authorized service shop to see if they can fix it under warranty
