Welcome, Jim!

Suggest you start a new thread to compare those 2 models.

Can I listen to music from a computer plugged into the X4000 while viewing video from another HDMI source in the same main zone? I have a 5.1 surround sound setup and want to play a game on xbox one and listen to music from a PC.

Neither model can do so when both sources are connected via HDMI.

Would it be beneficial to use my Yamaha for the rear speakers.

I am using a Denon 3313ci receiver. But I also own a Yamaha receiver. Would it be wise to use the Yamaha for my two rear channels and the Denon for my fronts and center? My sub-woofer is powered.

Nope. If your FL/FR speakers are set to SMALL/80Hz (as recommended), powering the rear speakers isn't going to make any difference.
