Hi,

I have a Yamaha RX-A2010, which has Pandora. Anyway, a great feature from which i understand is no longer on the newer Aventage range. Does anyone know at what bitrate the Yamaha Aventage receivers stream from Pandora from?

I listen to it a lot. I was thinking of perhaps paying the subscription for Pandora One, which is supposed to upgrade you from whatever their default is to 192kbps. However I'm not sure if that holds true for Pandora streaming thru equipment such as receivers?

Anyone know the answer to that? Does it determine what bit rate through your username and password, or is it solely for web users of Pandora only ?

I think Pandora One is worth the $36 year just for no ads and more skips. I thought going from free to paid takes you from 64kbps to 128kbps. The only way to get 192kbps is from your PC.
