I just picked up my new vx673 and am excited to hook everything up. I was hoping to get your impressions of the FRONT PRESENCE speakers and Cinema DSP. Is the sound worth the effort of installing the additional speakers? Also, what sound modes do you enjoy most.

Thanks!

The receiver features Virtual Presence speakers (via Cinema DSP 3D) so you might try that out before purchasing additional speakers...

How long have you had your 673 for. What do you think of the sound so far? Any advice that you can give to a newcomer?

Is there much of a difference between the 673 and the 675? Is the 675 just this years model? I'm just wondering if I should purchase the 673 and save myself some money?

I haven't hooked up the 673 yet so can't give an opinion based on the sound quality. However, I have been EXTENSIVELY researching receivers for my next purchase and the 673 has received SO many positive reviews that I'm very confident in it's performance. It's a best seller on amazon with a solid 5 start ratio, Whatifhifi product of the year. The 675 looks very similar with just slightly more power and a feature that let's you watch high quality material from your cell phone, on your tv............who the heck wants to do that. I say jump on my band wagon and take your chances with the 673 for $200 less.

Well I havent had any issues with mine..has worked flawless and I use it all the time as the TV is played thru the receiver. I would like to add presence speakers just wondering what kind of upgrade it would make
