Is there a way to set/limit the max volume coming in through airplay? It looks like by default the receiver assumes the volume level of the device. I"m worried about a guest coming over with their iphone at max volume from the car, then connecting to my airplay and blowing out my speakers

Have the AVR-1913

You can try setting the AVR's Volume Limit (p. 102 OM) to -20db.

------------
"JD" - Call 585-645-1006 or email jd@avscience.com for AVR selection and pricing discussion 8am - 8pm EST daily (incl Sat/Sun)

Think you have a defective AVR? Owner's manual - Factory reset 4-5 times in a row.
