My Denon 3312 CI is malfunctioning since yesterday. It would make high pitch sounds (sometimes busting) the the audio would stop. I have to switch it on/off and it might play quite sometime without any problem and then again it would reappear. Anybody have any clue what might have gone wrong? any recommendation/suggestion?

Did anything change in your current configuration? Does it occur with all inputs? First try a "soft reset" by unplugging the unit for 10 minutes. If still no joy, then reset the microprocessor (p. 149 OM).
