Hello Folks

My friend has recently bought two amps off the internet which he has subsequently set about destroying in as short a time as possible. One we believe the power transistors (or something similar) have gone and the other has some broken binding posts.

Do any of you know of any good amp repair shops/ companies in England, preferable within or close to South Yorkshire. We are willing to travel but we have to arrange transport. Any help would be greatly appreciated, the poor fellow is nearly ampless.

Regards Mikkel

Do you know the brand and model numbers of the amps?

Life is enjoyable with good quality

The one that's blown is the PLX 1202 and the other with the broken binding posts is the PLX 1602.

Unfortunately i don't know the age or and other defining details at this moment.
If they're needed i can try asking my friend to see if he knows.

Mikkel

This would be a good place to start. They should be able to direct you to a service center. Good luck.
