Hi All,

I am very slowly piecing together a surround system that will be powered by this reciever. I'm not entirely sure of the proper connections to use but I am hopeful that someone here can help.

Back of my receiver

I have 2 Klipsch Tower Speakers that will be used as the front main speakers and two small bose bookshelf speakers that i was going to use as rear surround until i upgrade but i have only 1 output for rear surround as you can see in the attached link.

Considering these are the only speakers i own currently (no center, no sub) how would they be best utilized, what outputs should they connect to and what settings should i select on my receiver?

Your Klipsch connect to the front L/R, and the Bose to surround L/R.

Should the bose be placed to the rear of the listening position?
