Hi All,

Strange issue with my Denon AVR 891, it seems that the mute will shut itself off after a certain period of time. When it first happened, I assumed it was some strange IR reflection that must have triggered it, but I have never been using a remote when it has happened...but now it seems to be a routine thing and it happens all the time. I checked in the menus to see if there was some kind of option in the setups for that and nothing. Can't figure it out. I guess one option is simply to turn the volume all the way down instead of using muting. Not that big of a deal, but just a curiosity to me...anyone run across this?

I have the same problem. I mute my new Sony 4k TV which is connected to my new Denon AVR and after a few seconds the mute turns off. Mute was working for a month or so but now it resets after a few seconds.

Any ideas or suggestions?
