I must be missing the setting....

I want my AVR to output the menus/video through the simple video-out connection. The old TV doesn't have HDMI. It has both component and the "yellow" video jack - but both yield it no signal to the TV.

I've searched the manual - no luck.
I've spent at least an hour trying to navigate the menu through the AVR faceplate - but can't seem to get it to output video.

I just want to see my menus and run through Audyssey; I'm not watching movies or TV. I have no TV Input.

WTF.

You missed the 3rd note on p. 4 of the Owner's manual ...... HDMI output only.

Use the "Source Level" setting (p. 66 OM) to increase the source audio of the CD player.

Setting the source level of analog inputs to +12dB still does not compensate for the loss of volume.

I've tried 2 different sets of RCA cords, but no change.

Aux input still sounds fine.

Any other thoughts on what might be causing the drop in volume?

I switched the RCA connection from CD to BD analog and the volume came back.

Marantz support believes I have a faulty CD jack/connection within the AVR.

The suggestion is to ship it to an authorized service center (Syracuse NY).
