I have a 7.2 set up for zone one and on zone two I have two speakers by my pool and have the front high setup to power them through zone two. I can listen to hd radio no problem but when I switch to sat/cbl I cannot get my tv to play out there and works fine on zone one. it is through the hdmi cable and I even tried hooking up the digital input from my uverse box thinking maybe needed the extra input but that didnt help either. So only thing I am getting on zone 2 is the radio any ideas?

You can't play a digital source out zone 2, only analog.

Well crap so can I hook it up some other way I to get the sound? If so give me the best way for quality I guess if more than one but thinking only gonna have the one way with RCA cables. They do that because on stereo it doesn't matter for quality? Or they just cheap out on it. Wouldn't think so paying so much for a reciever but then again they all seem to do it. Thanks.

Red/white L/R connections (analog) are all that passes. Connect the cable box to the 4311 using the red/white out of the box to the proper red/white input on the 4311.
