I've been looking at different receivers and reviews of them for a while; however, the rated power of receivers has me overly confused. I understand that it is ideal to look for a good range instead of ones that boast power. The AV receiver I am looking at is below:
AV Receiver: Sony STR-840, 7.2 Surround at 1050 Watt (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00CAAQHBE/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1372060288&sr=8-1&pi=SL75
Speakers: Jamo S606HCS6 (http://m.techradar.com/reviews/audio-visual/hi-fi-and-audio/hi-fi-and-av-speakers/jamo-s606-hcs-6-99406/review
), will buy HCS3 and add Jamo Sub 260 since its tough to find.
I am only interested in 5.1 and it seems a bit difficult to find that
For additional features on the receiver, I will use AirPlay, networkable (doesn't need to be wireless), and Bluetooth rarely if at all.
I don't believe it matters but it will be coupled with a 65" Samsung 120hz LED.
Thank you for your help!
