I have a home theater setup with a pair of Infinity IRS Beta midrange/tweeter speakers. A Bryston ST 4B amplifier used to power these speakers. The amplifier appears to be dead with no power LED or signs of getting power. I will probably need to replace it. I haven't purchased amplifiers before, so I'm not familiar with the best options for my setup or some good websites to do research. The speaker documentation recommends a mid/high-frequency amplifier rated between 75 and 300 watts per channel into 4 ohms. The inputs connectors are 3-wire balanced. I am looking for excellent quality sound at a reasonable/low cost. Does anyone have recommendations for amplifiers or suggestions on where to look to get more information?
