I just picked up a Integra DHC-80.2 last night. This morning I tried to run the Audyssey XT32 setup and it asks me to bring my subwoofer down to 75db.. Even with my subwoofer off, everything in the room off (HVAC, Fridge, everything), it reads 102/103db pegged. I tried another audyssey mic from my old onkyo and i get the same thing.

What's going on here? My ambient room volume can't be 102db... did I buy a damaged processor? or am i just doing something wrong?

When i ran the XT on my old onkyo i never had a problem.

ok, figured it out... for some reason, my hdmi cables were on a strange angle and i guess it was causing something to touch that shouldn't... figured it out after other things started acting really strange. For a second i thought i had a lemon... but once i fixed the hdmi cables, everything is working perfectly. so weird.

looks like a spoke too soon.... i think i might be suffering from the hdmi board problem people have talked about on here. Audio drops out, sometimes replaced by static...
