I had the Boston Acoustics Soundbar hooked up to the AVR 1911 with no issues. AVR 1911 is now having HDMI issues so I hooked up the soundbar to the AVR 391. AVR receives audio via Optic Cable from Cox Cable Box. The AVR 391 (Left/Right Front and Center Channel) are hooked up to the sound bar with 12 gauge speaker wire running approx. 8 feet. The sound bar gives bizarre and random feedback (sounds digital) at times but then stops working after 5 minutes. If the AVR 391 is shut off for a period of time and turned back on, the soundbar will work, but again for only 5 minutes. This happens also when using HDMI input from Cox Cable box to AVR and then HDMI from AVR to TV.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps the soundbar has gone bad? Does the issue present with optical from the box to the 1911 since HDMI is not in play?

The issue is the same with the 1911. However, it seems the sound bar is working as advertised now through optical. Thank you for the reply.
