I bought an Onkyo receiver a few years ago that had dual hdmi outputs and still regret It today as the hdmi boards went out on me. I will never buy Onkyo again so please do not suggest an Onkyo receiver:). Anyways I'm thinking about buying a projector again and will need two hdmi outputs so I can switch between my plasma and the pj. Currently I'm using a budget Pioneer receiver that only has one hdmi output. I really don't want to keep switching the output from the plasma to the pj and would like a moderately priced receiver with dual hdmi outputs. Thanks!!

Unfortunately an avr with 2 HDMI outs are usually the higher end models. Finding a cheap one will probably be difficult. Whats your budget?

No, Mr. Bond. I expect you to die!

Have you considered simply adding an HDMI splitter?

just buy a cheap hdmi matrix switch (4X2 --> $60 from monoprice) and use it to do whatever.... ie. one input from your existing receiver to both or either outputs.
