here the problem j have a Marantz nr1403 connected to pc and hdtv via hdmi.
speaker 5.1 4 polk audio tsi300 front left right and rear and polk audio cs10 as centre and a subwoofer.
After audissey calibration all dts content sound well and calibrated but when reproducing some dolby digital content the rear speaker are very silent is this normal ?

yes, it is very normal. Not all Dolby Digital is 5.1, some is DD 2.0 where there is no content for the surround speakers.

It also depends on the way the audio was mixed, some movies/shows have very little surround content.

DTS audio is 5.1 or more.

can you change the sound DSP?

ok j have manually adjusted each speaker volume using this http://www.hometheatershack.com/roomeq/ connecting the mic of the Marantz to the pc and play avia home dvd with mpc hc the spl meter tool help me to adjust the volume then a little more correction while listening some contents. Very good result with this "home made" solution.
