Greetings,

It is now time to purchase a Home Theater receiver for my dedicated media room. The room is 17x13 and enclosed. I recently picked up 2 Polk 75T tower mains and a Polk CS20 for the center. In the rear of the room I am putting in 4 in wall Triad Silver surrounds.

I am still debating on 1 or 2 subs. I like the looks of 2 better to even out my stage area, but will probably just pick one.

I don't need any streaming apple services as I have Sonos and Control4. It seems like most will come with that now anyways.

50% sports and 50% movies.

Wanting to stay around $500.00.

Was looking at the Denon 2313CI for $449 refurbished.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

CLE

Any help would be appreciated. I have narrowed it down to three choices:

Yamaha 673 for $399

Refurb Denon 2313 for $449

Refurb Denon x2000 for $449

It looks to me like the 2313 is the best value out of this group?

If you need dual HDMI outputs then get the Denon 2313.

All 3 would be good choices although I see no reason to get the x2000 over the 2313 at the same price.

Is the Yamaha new or refurb?

The Yamaha is new. Most people say Denon is better than Yamaha for home theater and the room calibration system is better.

I think Audyssey MultEQ XT is better than YPAO and I own 3 Denon receivers.

Get the 2313.
