I can't believe how quickly you got the responses from Krell. I send mine in for repair & upgrade in july 14. Never had a response from Krell directly. I can understand that they try harder please their customers at home. But Europa is also a pretty big marked i should think.
Still hoping for a pleasent response eventually from Krell. I think the situation demands it. I'm really a forgiving person - just nerveous:blush:

I wonder if your emails are going into spam or something. I would just call them and speak to Patrick Bresnahan or Bill McKiegan

So after 9months of no multichannel and no end in sight I broke down and connected my old Harman Kardon receiver to my left side so I have multi channel again. NOT AS GOOD AS MY KRELL EVO 3250 but at least I can watch a movie again! Won't try music as it would be a disappointment but for movie it was OK. SO GOOD to get all channels playing again. I'm getting tired of waiting for Krell to sort out their stuff! And I've always been an AVID Krell fan but this is getting to be too long!!! Krell, if you want to keep your customers you HAVE to sort out your issues and keep your customers happy!

The newer model's are slightly cleaner sounding at some volume levels and are much better at not turning your listening room into a sauna..Evo has much better bass response...for me I have dual subs so I think that its the IBIAS for me...but I have 2 weeks with them so I'll keep it coming as they burn in more

i read the review on the Chorus and to be able to put out close to 300wpc @ 4ohms with pure class A power is pretty impressive technology. Its even more impressive when you consider the price is about $1,500.00 per channel. A pure Class A 30wpc Pass Lab XA-30.8 will set you back $6,500.00.

Yeah I owned one for a couple months. The chorus 7200. It did sound good. Just wanted to know how good the Chorus sounds as opposed to the evo amps. I have never heard them. But they do get rave reviews.

These Evos put out alot of power but they get hot enough to cook on...it doesn't matter how low you are listening or if you even have them on...in standby they're hot as all get out...I'm going to definitely stick with the new I bias tech that only get hot when you are cranking on them..but I would say that the response and detail has really changed from when I first powered the beasts up..they are equally as clear as the Chorus and Duo and have alot more oomph. ...just too much heat for me...maybe if I lived in northern Canada or Alaska they would serve a dual purpose. ..audio and warmth on a cold winter night..lol

Yep even the Chorus served a dual purpose in my cooler basement. The heat is radiated out of the amp and into the room. So I would end up with my shirt off by the end of a movie. I can't imagine what those big evo amps do.

I'm sweating in 15 mins...I can't leave them even powered on because they give off almost as much heat just being in standby mode with the back power switch on but amp off

I own a two channel class A amp and it runs the temperature in the room up about 2 degrees which is not too bad.

Are they the newer e-models that uses very little power on standby. I have the Evolution 600's for fronts and they're not to bad in winter and in basement that's always cooler. Sometimes use air conditioner in summer but that's usually times that I would have run my air conditioner anyway. My basement open to back and to upper floor so good circulation.

Mine are cold on standby. Do get warm when you play loud but they sound better the warmer they are!
